Idris O’Connor is the Democratic nominee running to be your next Coles District Supervisor. He is a proven leader with experience in community service and as a representative. Idris’ role in church ministry, on the County Advisory Board, and direct action groups has given him firsthand knowledge and experience with serving the people. Now he’s bringing that experience to the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.
Idris has worked with CASA in Action, Greater Prince William Climate Action Network, PWNAACP, and the Green New Deal Coalition. His service has allowed him to fight for everyday people of all backgrounds.
He serves on the Prince William County Social Service Advisory Board where he is a strong advocate for equity and ensuring a higher standard of living for the residents of Prince William County.
He is also the Chair of the Cooperative Council of Ministries. His work with the Council has focused on ending homelessness and poverty. Idris’ commitment to his faith drives his conviction that no person deserves inequality and that injustice must be combated at every turn.

As a resident of Prince William County for over a decade, Idris is ready to serve the people of the Coles Magisterial District. Idris has seen Prince William County residents at the point of their greatest needs.
Idris knows that we have to come together to find solutions and common ground to push forward for a united Prince William County.
Idris believes that every resident in Prince William County should have access to a world-class education, a vibrant business community, affordable housing, access to mental health services, and good quality constituent services.
Idris will listen to all the residents in the Coles District and will uplift their voices on the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.
